Planning Applications
We offer a service to satisfy planning applications where the planners require a landscaping scheme. Our expertise and understanding of what the planners are looking for, ensures the process goes smoothly. We are also aware that where the landscaping is part of your home it is designed to please you not just the planners.
We will liaise with the planners and architects to produce a plan to satisfy planning conditions. It will include plants, with mature sizes and size at planting time, and all boundary treatments. It does not include an ongoing maintenance plan which can be provided for an extra cost.
This work is dependant on us receiving a scale drawing (.pdf or .dwg) showing houses and any roads, house elevations and any planning letters.
Starting at £500
V.A.T, Printing, photography and soil tests
(where required) are not included.
Initial Consultation and Site Visit
£50 per hour
We will help with all aspects of gardens and gardening during the visit so be prepared with questions and any problems.
Fee waived if a Garden Design Plan requested during visit.
Garden Design Plan
Basic design, excluding a detailed planting plan

- site survey (we are not surveyors but do what is necessary to create a design. We will arrange a professional survey where it is required at an additional cost ie, severe slopes, tricky sites)
- visit to present plan and discuss implementation
- mood board and interim meeting
- 1 Set of initial amendments
- Final design presentation this will include:
- Landscape plan (to scale – usually 1 to 100 or 1 to 50)
- 4 hardcopies of the plans (anymore will be supplied at cost) extra printing will be charged at cost.
- Client’s pack (useful data for implementing the design).
- Contractor’s folder (includes hardworks detailing)

Garden Lighting Cable Plan
£80
All lights are specified and their position shown on the plan. Details of the conduit required for the cabling is included and details of the switches and where they are to be placed.
A prerequisite before the garden is constructed so the contractors know where to install conduit for the cabling (the lights themselves can wait unti a later phase if preferred). It will involve a visit from a garden lighting electrician and will include all electrics in the garden.
